Robin Pflieger, PT, DPT

Founder & Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Robin Pflieger  is the owner and founder of The Dizziness and Balance Center, established in 2002, the first free-standing facility in New Jersey dedicated to Vestibular and Balance Rehabilitation. With 37 years’ experience as a Physical Therapist, she has passionately dedicated herself to specializing in Vestibular Rehabilitation for the past 34 years. She is widely recognized as a leading expert in this field throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties and beyond. She has extensive clinical experience in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of BPPV, vestibular neuronitis and labyrinthitis, Meniere’s Disease, concussion management and fall prevention. She also sees patients with neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s Disease, strokes, Multiple Sclerosis and gait abnormalities.

Robin received her Bachelor of Science at West Chester University and then pursued a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. Her passion for learning and professional growth lead her to completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Montana in 2020. She has completed the Competency- based Herdman Course, including Vestibular Rehabilitation Certification and Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation Certification courses at Emory University. She attends ongoing conferences and seminars to stay abreast of new research and advances in the field of Vestibular Rehabilitation to ensure patients receive evidence-based care.

Angela Acquaro, PT, DPT, ITPT, MDT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Angela Colletti graduated from the University of Delaware with her bachelor's degree in exercise science and kinesiology. She then went on to attend the doctoral program for physical therapy at Rutgers University. Angela has been immersed in the rehabilitation world since she was in high school. She suffered two knee injuries, leading her to spend over two years in physical therapy. During this time, Angela found her passion for this field and wanted to be a part of helping others return to their lives and to the things that they love. She developed a deep interest in concussion management and is a concussion-certified provider through ImPact. She is also well versed in treating various orthopedic conditions, including postoperative procedures and orthopedic/sports injuries. Furthermore, she is certified in the McKenzie Method, which specializes in the treatment of spinal pain and injuries. She is trained in using electrical stimulation, cupping, manual therapies, movement assessment, and correction. Angela has advanced training in balance, fall prevention, and vestibular therapy, including diagnosis and management of BPPV, vestibular neuronitis and labyrinthitis, Meniere’s disease, and vestibular migraine. She prides herself on giving individualized treatment to facilitate a safe and speedy recovery for patients of all ages.

Samantha Clifford, PT, DPT, OCS

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Samantha Clifford graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011 with a clinical doctorate in physical therapy. She graduated magna cum laude and earned a bachelor's degree and certificate in pathokinesiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008. Samantha is a vestibular specialist and a board-certified orthopedic specialist. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and abilities. She strives to help her patients reach functional goals to return to a limit-free way of life. Samantha has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of BPPV, vestibular neuronitis and labyrinthitis, Meniere’s disease, vestibular migraine, and more. She has a special interest in gait/balance training and fall prevention in the older adult. She believes strongly in the use of evidence-based practice to restore function and improve quality of life.
Outside the clinic, Samantha enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband and three young children.

Gabrielle Devoy

Office Manager

Gabrielle is an integral part of our cohesive therapy team. As the first point of contact to our office for patients and family members, she is passionately committed to providing a warm, welcoming experience. She is extremely efficient and skilled at the admissions process, scheduling appointments, authorizations, insurance verification, and answering questions that our patients may have before arriving at the office. Her efficiency ensures smooth clinic operation, which facilitates an overall great experience for our patients. She has a comprehensive knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, and collections and is always available to answer patients’ questions. She demonstrates and expresses as much concern about the well-being of our patients as our clinicians.
